Ensuring responsible, transparent, and independent governance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

OLHI’s independence is supported through multiple mechanisms, including the governance and leadership of its Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Board of Directors oversees and supervises OLHI’s operations. It is currently composed of eight directors, five of whom are independent of the life and health insurance industry (“independent directors”) and three of whom are appointed by the industry (“industry directors”).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The governance structure includes separate board committees that oversee specific areas, including human resources, fees paid by participating companies and budgets, standards, and governance.<\/p>\n<\/div>
