{"id":438,"date":"2024-07-08T00:00:59","date_gmt":"2024-07-08T04:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.olhi-oap.ca\/en\/news\/lombudsman-des-assurances-de-personnes-nomme-une-nouvelle-directrice-generale-et-ombudsman-2\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T10:56:06","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T14:56:06","slug":"olhi-appoints-new-executive-director-and-ombudsman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olhi-oap.ca\/en\/news\/olhi-appoints-new-executive-director-and-ombudsman\/","title":{"rendered":"OmbudService for Life and Health Insurance appoints a new Executive Director and Ombudsman"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Montreal, Quebec&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 The Board of Directors of the OmbudService for Life and Health Insurance (OLHI) announced that Mtre St\u00e9phanie Robillard has been appointed as Executive Director and Ombudsman, effective July 2, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leader of OLHI\u2019s analytical team since 2020 as the Senior Deputy Ombudsman, St\u00e9phanie brings solid leadership credentials, team-building skills and professional ethics to the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her extensive skills, experience and industry knowledge on alternative dispute resolution services will continue to contribute to OLHI\u2019s success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St\u00e9phanie\u2019s impressive academic credentials include a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Social Sciences and a Civil Law Licence from the University of Ottawa, a Master\u2019s degree in Health Law and Politics from the University of Sherbrooke, and most recently, a Psychology of Leadership Certificate from Cornell University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-vertically-aligned-top is-style-gap-compact\" style=\"grid-template-columns:18% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"709\" height=\"693\" src=\"https:\/\/www.olhi-oap.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/StephanieRobillard.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-852 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/olhi-oap.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/StephanieRobillard.png 709w, https:\/\/olhi-oap.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/StephanieRobillard-300x293.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 709px) 100vw, 709px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>St\u00e9phanie is also a member of the Quebec Bar, the Quebec Mediation and Arbitration Institute (IMAQ) and of the Association for Dispute Resolution (ADR) Institute of Canada. She is an accredited mediator in civil, commercial and labour mediation and has over 20 years of experience in private legal practice.
